MEET OUR REMEDIAL & SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST
Hello! I'm Will.
I am a Qualified Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist, specializing in Remedial & Sports Massage treatments. I hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy (Q Academy Newstead Brisbane) graduated in July 2019. I also hold a Professional Cupping Therapy and Massage and graduated in July 2022.
After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis more than 18 years ago which halted all movement from the hip down, massage and physio treatments combine with my self-belief that I can take control and get on top of my injury, helped me get back on track and allow me to continue my passion for endurance racing and health and fitness in general. Which has led me to pursue a career in Remedial & Sports Massage Therapy.
Through my own personal experience, I know how important remedial & sports massage therapy (and other hands-on therapies) is to injury prevention and rehabilitation. I am also a strong believer in the benefits of massage therapy not only on athletic performance, but also the well-being of the mind and body.
My aim is to help my clients achieve their goals through not just using and sharing my knowledge, but also inspiring my clients to seek their own. I believe in athletes treating athletes. I have experience working with elite athletes from swimming, triathlon, road & mountain bike cycling, Ironman, track & field, AFL, dancing and gymnastics.
I believe in training both in and outside of the gym and experiencing new things continually expanding my knowledge in all thing's health related.
